Boy, 5, found walking alone on road after escaping room sealed with wooden boards and zip-tied baby gate, troopers say

SWATARA TOWNSHIP, Pa. (Gray News) — A 5-year-old boy escaped a home in Pennsylvania where authorities said he was kept in a room locked with wooden boards and zip ties.

Pennsylvania State Police said troopers were called to a street in Swatara Township on July 10 after a 5-year-old boy was found naked walking in the middle of the road.

Good Samaritans who found the boy stayed with him until police arrived. The child was then taken to the hospital for evaluation…
