WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man has been sentenced after admitting to illegally purchasing and selling stolen human remains, the FBI reports.
Joshua Taylor, a 49-year-old man from West Lawn, PA, was sentenced on Monday after admitting his involvement with a wider network of individuals who bought and sold human remains, according to United States Attorney Brian Miller.
An investigation done by the FBI, United States Postal Inspection Service, the East Pennsboro Township Police Department, and the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office revealed that Taylor knowingly purchased stolen remains, including remains from Harvard Medical School.
