Natural gas upgrade begins Tuesday in Cumberland County

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) — A natural gas project is beginning Tuesday and is expected to last through the month.

UGI Utilities said the system upgrade project will be on West Trindle Road between Valley Street and Fairfield Street, as well as the eastbound lane of West Trindle Road between Fairfield Street and Interstate 81 in Middlesex and South Middleton townships, near Carlisle.

Once the project begins, construction will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and drivers should expect traffic restrictions.
