Pennsylvania’s diesel average is now within a penny of its all-time record, a surge that is putting new pressure on the truckers who keep the state’s stores, warehouses and worksites supplied.
The average price for a gallon of diesel in Pennsylvania reached $6.323 on Sunday, Sept. 13, according to AAA — up nearly 22 cents in a week, 64 cents in a month, and $2.34 from the same day last year.
