9-year-old hit by vehicle while riding bike to school

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A crash sent a 9-year-old riding a bike to the hospital Thursday morning in Mechanicsburg.

The child was on their way to school around 7:30 a.m. when a vehicle struck them at the intersection of East Marble and South Arch streets, said Mechanicsburg Police Department. They were wearing a helmet and their injuries appeared to be minor, police added.
