Wrightsville Borough secretary steals over $135K in municipality funds: police

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — The secretary for Wrightsville Borough has been accused of making $135,561.75 in unauthorized purchases on three different borough-owned credit cards.

Tammie Hoff, 53, of Dover, has been charged with three counts each of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and access device fraud.

According to credit card statements received by police, Hoff used the money on a cruise, Six Flags America, a hotel in Times Square, nail and spa treatments, and other purchases…
