Dauphin County school bus driver and coach fired after arrest, district says

A substitute school bus driver, who also worked as a volunteer coach, was terminated by a transportation company and the Upper Dauphin Area School District after a recent arrest, according to a statement issued by the district.

On Wednesday, the school district posted a statement that included the following:

“The Upper Dauphin Area School District is aware of the recent arrest of an individual who served as a substitute bus driver and volunteer coach for our district. Effective immediately, the above individual is no longer employed by the transportation contractor or the school district.”…
