HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A preschool and daycare may close soon as the Jewish Federation of Greater Harrisburg says they “are navigating a period of financial challenge.”
“Most urgently, we are assessing the challenges facing our Brenner Family Early Learning Center and will be in direct communication with enrolled families as soon as more information is available,” Zach Benjamin, CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Harrisburg, said in an email. “At this time, we are able to assure parents that the ELC will continue to provide high-quality educational and daycare services until at least May 1.”
“We are working with a very senior team from the Jewish Federations of North America to thoughtfully and collaboratively assess the situation, and develop viable options to help chart a path forward,” he continued. “This work is being approached with both immediate needs and long-term stability in mind, with a shared commitment to a strong and flourishing Jewish community in Harrisburg.”…
