SHIPPENSBURG — Amari Harvey has received some letters in the mail, but he’s still waiting on one piece of postage in particular. He wants to continue his track career at Shippensburg University, and as his recruitment begins to kindle, he delivered some heat personally.
Harvey reset his East Pennsboro school record for the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.38 at Shippensburg University’s Seth Grove Stadium. His declaration for the Raiders was the mic-drop moment after making a statement for the latest invitational title of his breakout junior season.
“I’m hoping maybe some colleges start to take a look at me, start taking some notice to me. Preferably Ship, I’d love to hear from them,” Harvey said. “I’d like to go to Ship.”
