ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A deputy was flown to the hospital and the suspect is dead after a shooting during a traffic stop Monday on Interstate 85 in Anderson County, according to officials.
The shooting happened shortly after 4 p.m. near exit 11 on Interstate 85.
According to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies had stopped a Dodge Challenger and were in the process of interviewing the driver when the deputy requested additional assistance. A second deputy then arrived at the scene…
