Tree removal to close Dauphin County road

WOOD RIDGE MANOR, Pa. (WHTM) — A road will be closed in Dauphin County to allow crews to remove a “large hazardous tree.”

The tree, Derry Township Police say, is near 710 Hilltop Road.

A contractor for PPL Electric Utilities will take down the tree and Hilltop Road will be closed between Clark Road and Sand Hill Road beginning around 9 a.m. Monday.
