Two men are in custody following a high-speed police pursuit that began in Carbondale and ended with a crash in Scranton. Phillip DeBarry of Carbondale and Qu’Ran Baskerville of Harrisburg were apprehended by authorities after the vehicle they were in fled a traffic stop on Wyoming Street Tuesday afternoon.
The incident escalated when a third man, identified as Amir Hunter, allegedly took the wheel of the Dodge Challenger and sped away from officers. During the escape, a Carbondale police officer fired a shot at the vehicle, though no one was injured by the gunfire.
