HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A new transition committee now overseeing the Jewish Federation of Greater Harrisburg released a statement Thursday calling its Alexander Grass Campus for Jewish Life “unsustainable.”
The federation told many employees they will be furloughed or laid off after Friday. abc27 News has learned that includes CEO Zach Benjamin.

And the transition committee added that the separately run Silver Academy, a K-8 school on the campus, “intends” to be there through the end of the school year, and Jewish Family Service “currently remains” there, the clearest indication yet that the campus’ future is in doubt…
