PERRY COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A plan to close two Perry County schools could mean longer trips for students.
“We’re in Blain, pretty much the farthest end of western Perry County,” said Evan Snyder, a former student at Blain Elementary whose wife now teaches there. He and dozens of others showed up to speak with abc27 News about their opposition to a plan from the West Perry School District to close the school and Carroll Elementary and bus students to a new building in New Bloomfield. Those who couldn’t be there wrote letters.
