Retired organ transport jet becomes a unique underwater attraction for scuba divers in Lebanon County quarry

JACKSON, Pa. — A Learjet that once transported organs for transplant patients has a new purpose beneath the surface of a Lebanon County quarry. Divers guided the jet into the water, where it will become part of an underwater training and exploration site.

“It’s going to be hanging suspended midwater for divers to check out. they’ll be able to swim around it and through it and then back out again,” Lisa Daly, Willow Springs Dive Park manager, said.
