Contra Costa County Assessor Delivers 2026–2027 Assessment Roll Reflecting Historic Growth

Martinez, CA — Contra Costa County Assessor Gus Kramer is pleased to announce the official completion and delivery of the 2026–2027 Assessment Roll to the County Auditor-Controller, as required by law. This annual milestone provides a comprehensive snapshot of the assessed value of all taxable property within the County.

The 2026–2027 Assessment Roll reports a total net assessed value of nearly $300.80 billion, representing an increase of $10.14 billion—or 3.48%—over the previous year. This marks the highest total assessed value in the County’s history, underscoring the region’s continued economic vitality and growth.

Cities leading in percentage increases include:

  • Oakley: +4.44%
  • Danville: +4.41%

More modest gains were observed in:

  • Pinole: +2.07%
  • San Pablo: +1.82%
