Egg Palace is preparing to debut at 4101 Broadway in Oakland, where the concept will operate as a restaurant and bar serving breakfast and dinner, owner Brack DeFries told WhatNow. He also shared that the restaurant’s debut will be in November.
The team behind Egg Palace is also behind Egg Pals, a pop-up concept that has operated around Oakland for the past four years. In an Instagram announcement, the team said it has hosted pop-ups on sidewalks, in parklets, and in kitchens in partnership with local businesses, and described its move into its own space as the next step for the concept.
The restaurant will open in the morning with a breakfast-focused menu building on the breakfast sandwiches Egg Pals served during its pop-up days. The expanded menu will include breakfast plates and grain bowls, according to DeFries…
