Amy Schumer Mocks Taylor Swifts Big New York Wedding After Being Left Off Guest List

Comedian Amy Schumer took a playful jab at Taylor Swift after not being invited to the pop star’s high-profile wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce.

The couple tied the knot on the evening of July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with the joyful announcement flashing on jumbotron screens outside the venue, displaying the message “JUST MARRIED!” in bright pink.

Although Amy, 45, was noticeably absent from the guest list, she shared a tongue-in-cheek post on her Instagram Stories the night before the wedding. Posing in a quirky outfit featuring a black crew-neck sweater, red shorts, a bright pink waist bag, an orange polka dot scarf, and a straw sunhat, Amy captioned the photo, “Rehearsal dinner was sick. Who knew what she has planned for us tonight,” poking fun at the extravagant nuptials.

While Amy missed out, actor Adam Sandler was present and even took on a key role by officiating the ceremony.

This isn’t the first time Amy has taken a lighthearted swipe at Taylor. Back in 2016, she made headlines for a cheeky comment about Taylor’s Grammy Awards outfit, posting a bikini photo of herself alongside a remark about thigh gaps. That comment sparked backlash from fans who defended Taylor against body-shaming, leading Amy to respond with humor and a call for everyone to “take a deep breath.”

Despite the occasional ribbing, Taylor and Travis’s wedding was a memorable event, marked by unique touches such as foregoing a traditional wedding party. Instead, Taylor’s brother Austin Swift served as Man of Honor, and Travis’s brother Jason Kelce was Best Man. Both bride and groom wore custom-designed outfits by Jonathan Anderson, the Creative Director of Dior.

The ceremony, attended by close friends and family, was a glamorous celebration that went smoothly, even as Amy kept things light with her playful commentary from afar.
