Four employees at Madison Square Garden were removed from the venue after reportedly taking unauthorized photos of Taylor Swift’s wedding setup, according to insider reports.
The pop superstar, 36, and NFL star Travis Kelce, also 36, tied the knot at the iconic New York City arena on the evening of July 3. The ceremony featured actor Adam Sandler as the officiant, with Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift, standing as her Man of Honor, and Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, serving as Best Man.
Taylor and Travis have yet to release any official photos from the event. Guests were reportedly required to sign non-disclosure agreements to maintain the wedding’s privacy. In this context, sources revealed that four stagehands were escorted out on Thursday night for taking pictures of the wedding preparations.
A source familiar with the situation told Page Six that the workers, employed through a union rather than directly by Madison Square Garden, were not immediately fired. “They would have to go through arbitration before any termination,” the source explained. However, the employees are expected to face sanctions and likely will be barred from working at MSG in the future, though they may still be employed at other venues within the Madison Square Garden Company.
The couple announced their marriage around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, with jumbotron screens outside MSG displaying “JUST&T MARRIED!” in bold pink letters. Both wore coordinated wedding attire designed by Jonathan Anderson, Dior’s Creative Director for Women’s, Men’s, and Haute Couture collections.
While details of the celebration remain closely guarded, reports suggest Taylor serenaded Travis during the reception. Just prior to the wedding, the singer was seen at the renowned Electric Lady Studios in New York City, reportedly working on a wedding gift for her new husband.
A source told The Daily Mail that Taylor has been writing a “beautiful love song” for Travis over the past few weeks. Described as a “sweet ballad” with a “hypnotic chorus,” the song’s lyrics reportedly reflect the intimate moments and unique connection between the couple. The source added that Taylor performed the song at the reception and intends to release it publicly soon, after spending nearly 10 hours in the studio to perfect it.
Madison Square Garden representatives have been contacted for comment on the incident.
