Bunnie Xo Opens Up About Her Fourth of July Kiss with Reality Star Dylan Wolf
Bunnie Xo, the 46-year-old podcaster, recently addressed the buzz surrounding her Fourth of July kiss with 24-year-old reality TV personality Dylan Wolf. A video obtained by TMZ showed the two sharing a kiss on the rooftop VIP section of Goodnight Nashville Bar, a venue owned by Bunnie’s estranged husband, country singer Jelly Roll.
Jelly Roll, 41, officially filed for divorce from Bunnie (whose real name is Alisa DeFord) on May 18, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The couple’s separation was recorded as May 9, and news of their split became public on June 15.
Speaking on her Dumb Blonde Podcast on July 10, Bunnie clarified that the kiss with Dylan was just a friendly gesture and not the start of a romance. Although she didn’t name Dylan directly, she emphasized that she is “not dating anyone” at the moment.
“I don’t want to date anyone. I am here for fun, baby,” Bunnie explained.
She took full responsibility for the moment but insisted it wasn’t a date. “There was a huge group of us out.
I wasn’t out on a date.”
Bunnie also explained why she was at Goodnight Nashville, a place where she has her own dedicated floor. “I feel very safe there, I also feel very protected there.
That’s our home,” she said. “If I’m gonna land at any bar, I’m gonna do that at Goodnight Nashville.”
She added that she was celebrating a friend’s birthday and watching the Fourth of July fireworks from the rooftop. Regarding the reaction from Jelly Roll (real name Jason DeFord), Bunnie said, “He gets it.
There was not an issue at all.” She highlighted that the bigger challenge was dealing with people filming her for clout as she tries to move forward with her life.
Reflecting on the experience, Bunnie admitted it taught her to be more mindful in public. “People care so much about my personal life, so I will move forward with a lot more integrity and class.”
While emphasizing that she just wants to have fun and live her best life, Bunnie said she doesn’t regret the weekend’s events. “I am healing out loud.
So what, I got kissed under the f—ing fireworks? I hope I get kissed under f—ing 10 more fireworks shows,” she said with a laugh.
However, she was clear about her current romantic status. “I’m not dating anybody.
I do not want to be with anybody. There’s an ice box where my heart used to be.
That s–t is chained up, trust me,” referencing Omarion’s 2006 hit, “Ice Box.”
Earlier this summer, Bunnie revealed on her podcast that Jelly Roll has started dating again, and she expressed happiness for him as they both move forward.
As Bunnie Xo continues to navigate life post-divorce, she remains focused on healing, having fun, and embracing new experiences on her own terms.
