“NYPD Blue” Star’s Arrest Dropped

Additional Coverage:

Former “NYPD Blue” star Kim Delaney and her husband, James Morgan, will not face charges following a domestic disturbance call to their Marina del Rey home last Saturday. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that they declined to file charges against the couple due to insufficient evidence.

Deputies responded to the couple’s residence Saturday morning and subsequently arrested both Delaney, 65, and Morgan, 54. Delaney was booked on suspicion of felony assault and held without bail until Tuesday morning, the maximum hold time without charges being filed.

Morgan was booked on suspicion of domestic violence and released on $20,000 bail. Both had been scheduled for court appearances on Tuesday.

Despite the arrests, the District Attorney’s office determined there was not enough evidence to proceed with the case. Attempts to reach Delaney’s representatives for comment were unsuccessful.

Delaney, best known for her Emmy-winning role as Detective Diane Russell on “NYPD Blue,” has publicly shared images on social media depicting a loving relationship with Morgan, celebrating their second wedding anniversary earlier this year.
