Las Vegas officer arrested after alleged misconduct with woman during vehicle call

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A Las Vegas police officer is arrested and charged after acting inappropriately with a woman while responding to a call, according to police.

According to an arrest report, Officer Manuel Ramangmou with Metro’s Southeast Area Command was called to an area near Sunset Road and Pecos Road on May 9 for a suspicious vehicle call.

Police say security had called LVMPD because a vehicle was parked on private property overnight. It was later discovered that a woman, later identified as April Woolum, was allegedly sleeping in her white van in the commercial parking lot…
