HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) — Henderson Animal Protection Services says it has reached a 91% live release rate so far in fiscal year 2026, crediting staff, volunteers, community partners and city leadership for the progress and noting the figure is above the industry benchmark.
The agency reported 1,829 adoptions so far this year, following 2,667 adoptions during fiscal year 2025. Officials said 2,664 animals have been saved so far this year, compared with 3,650 saved during fiscal year 2025.
