Navy vet indicted in deadly crash was high on cocaine and marijuana, prosecutors say

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Evidence 8 News Now obtained shows the aftermath of a three-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a father of five.

A Clark County grand jury indicted Waymon Wells, 65, in May. The indictment alleges that Wells was driving under the influence when the deadly crash occurred, according to court records.

Clark County prosecutors said Wells was high on cocaine and marijuana at the time of the crash, which occurred on April 8 near Jones and West Oakey boulevards.
