Intermountain Health’s Nevada Children’s Hospital reached a major milestone this month after receiving final zoning and permitting approvals from the Clark County Commission, clearing the way for construction to begin later this year and keeping the project on track for a 2030 opening.
The standalone children’s hospital at the UNLV Harry Reid Research and Technology Park will be located just north a mile north of the Durango Casino and the 215 Beltway, making it easily accessible for families across the Las Vegas Valley.
“This was a huge step forward,” said Russ Williams, president of Intermountain Health’s Nevada Children’s Hospital. “With these approvals in place, we officially have the green light to move into construction.”…
