Man who hit, killed motorcyclist in stolen bus after police chase across Las Vegas valley sentenced to up to 20 years in prison

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The man who led police on a chase in a stolen Salvation Army bus across the Las Vegas valley before hitting and killing a motorcyclist was sentenced to serve up to 20 years in prison, according to court records.

On Tuesday, a district court judge sentenced 25-year-old Jalen Felton to eight to 20 years in prison with 135 days credit for time served, records showed. Felton received the maximum sentence the judge could give under the terms of an April plea deal.
