LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A major housing development could soon transform the site where the Eastside Cannery once stood.
Developers are proposing hundreds of new homes on the nearly 30-acre property along Boulder Highway, a site that was left vacant after the former hotel tower was imploded earlier this year.
But while some see it as a chance to bring new life to the area, not everyone is on board.
