LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A judge on Monday set a $7500 bail for a woman who is accused of injuring a baby duck taken from a fountain on the Las Vegas Strip.
Destiny Reyes, 29, was arrested on two counts of willful or malicious torture, maiming, or mutilation of an animal. Court records now show that one of those charges has been dropped.

On June 9 around 12:15 p.m., officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the Venetian Hotel and Casino after a report of a woman climbing into the Venetian Fountain and grabbing a duck, the report said.
With the help of the Nevada Department of Wildlife, the duck was later identified as a baby duck, and it is referred to as “Daffy” in the police report…
