LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Henderson Police explain the top violations they see on the roads and across the city from e-device riders and users, as officers plan more enforcement blitzes through summer break.
HPD recently shared details of its latest enforcement efforts ending early June, impounding 13 illegal dirt bikes and e-dirt bikes from city streets; many of these devices are being ridden by minors with no license.
“We just want to let parents and children know what is allowed on our roadways and what is not, and that’s just based on the fact that injuries occur on our roads. We’re not trying to be a downer with their new Christmas gifts, but we are certainly trying to keep our roadways safe and keep these unauthorized electric motorcycles off our city streets, parks, and trails, to preserve property as well as just to keep our kids safe,” said Sgt.
