LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Clark County School District’s annual student survey on perceptions of safety shows gains in middle and high schools this year, but not at elementary schools.
The district’s data, which was presented at last week’s CCSD Board of Trustees meeting, showed an increase this recent academic year at middle schools and high schools compared to 2022/2023. Middle schools improved, going from 76% up to 79%. High schools were even better, going from 78% to 84%.
However, students enrolled in fourth and fifth grade, who took the survey for elementary schools, reported a slight decline — dropping just 2 percentage points, from 87.1% down to 86.9% — in perception of safety when comparing the 2022/2023 year to 2025/2026…
