Las Vegas Pokémon card theft caught on camera

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Employees of a collectible store in Shanghai Plaza Crossing tell 8 News Now that a Sunday, May 31, robbery was captured on camera.

Their surveillance footage shows a man in a hat entering the store and walking off with more than $1,000 worth of Pokémon merchandise, without paying.

8 News Now spoke with employees who came face-to-face with him.  Anh Vo was working that night and recalled the man approaching employees, carrying an empty bag and what appeared to be a taser. According to Vo, the man demanded that the merchandise be put inside the bag.

“It was a Prismatic SPC, so it’s like around $300 a pop, and he took four of them,” said Vo…
