LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An assistant city manager announced she is stepping down from her position in Henderson, ending a 20-year career there, but less than two years in that position, sources told the 8 News Now Investigators Wednesday.
That city employee, Lisa Corrado, announced her decision earlier this week.

Corrado, the city confirmed exactly one year ago, oversaw Henderson’s embattled police department. Henderson’s city manager, Stephanie Garcia-Vause, hired Reggie Rader as the city’s 16thpolice chief after firing his predecessor.
Since that time, sources say, the police department was assigned to a different city executive.
As of Wednesday afternoon, Corrado’s biography still appeared on Henderson’s webpage, listing her as assistant city manager. Her biography said she was sworn into that position in 2024, having worked for the city since 2006. Henderson lists Corrado as one of three city managers…
