LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A California woman cautiously placed the $10 bill between Justin Wright’s chest muscles. With a flex that rocked his cowboy hat, she clapped her face in delighted amazement. It’s a moment Las Vegas performers say is at risk of disappearing.
On June 22, City of Las Vegas officials held a town hall with Fremont Street Experience performers to discuss longstanding problems with the free lottery system for the 38 “designated performance zones.”

Following the city hall meeting, Wright, a bare-chested strongman, showed 8 News Now what issues performers encounter with scalpers and cheats.
“The vast majority of these are multiple fake accounts for sure,” Wright said as he scrolled through the lottery system screen on his phone. “I got no spots, but my partner has a spot, so we’re going to be using that one.”
