LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Las Vegas valley is looking at partly cloudy skies Sunday after some light rain in parts of the valley.
Daily storm chances will continue throughout the week, with the possibility of stray or popcorn activity as existing storms near the border of Arizona or Utah, which may create downdrafts, causing sudden and new storm cells to pop up.

These quick cells are quite spontaneous, but with these narrow bands, they won’t guarantee sprinkles or rain in every neighborhood. It’s still hit-and-miss action that we will monitor for this week.
There’s still moisture in place, so it will feel a bit humid or muggy at times. Thunderstorm potential continues over the mountains this evening for Clark, Lincoln and Mohave counties as well…
