Jakob Butturff, 8-time professional bowling champion from Arizona, dies at 32

CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — Jakob Butturff, an eight-time Professional Bowlers Association Tour champion who called the Valley home, died unexpectedly Friday. He was 32.

The PBA announced his death Friday. No cause of death was given.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Butturff also lived in the Phoenix area and Binghamton, New York. His Team USA bio listed Tempe as his hometown, and he attended Arizona State University…
