LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Roadways in the southwest valley were closed Wednesday morning after a driver hit multiple light poles in the area, Las Vegas police said.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash happened shortly before 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, near South Fort Apache Road and West Patrick Lane.

Metro said the crash involved a single vehicle, adding that the driver lost control of the vehicle, went off the roadway, and hit multiple light poles in the area.
Police said the roadway would be closed for cleanup and some utilities in the area may be affected by the damage. Metro did not say how long the area was expected to be closed or what utilities may be affected…
