LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A video showing a woman confronting a street vendor in Las Vegas has spread across social media, and the fallout is now affecting businesses that say they have no connection to the incident.
In the video, the woman tells the vendor she cannot sell in the area and threatens to call police and immigration authorities. She also claims to be acting on behalf of La Bonita Supermarkets. La Bonita says that is not true.
‘She wasn’t authorized to speak on our behalf’
Victor Flores Puga, a spokesperson for La Bonita Supermarkets, said the woman in the video had no affiliation with the company.
“She had no standing with us; she wasn’t with the company; she wasn’t authorized to speak on our behalf,” Flores Puga said in Spanish…
