LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — After a nice and breezy Saturday, we are looking ahead to some soggy changes thanks to a strong El Nino which is giving life to 3 hurricanes in the Pacific. The one that will impact us is Marie; she is west/southwest of Baja California and is moving northwest.
She’s going to bring us a nice rush of moisture overnight with rain showers for Sunday.

Radar is showing light to moderate rainfall with widespread clouds to start off your day. Unlike downbursts or updrafts that we’ve seen these past few weeks with popcorn storms across Las Vegas, vertical motion in this type of rain tomorrow is a bit steadier in pace.
Amounts will vary here, but the biggest amount of rainfall will of course be in the mountains, with even lighter amounts here in town-at least a quarter inch of rain, but anything helps!…
