LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Henderson restaurant has been chosen by the City of Las Vegas, with $1 million put towards it, as part of the redevelopment of Civic Center.
Staff recommended approving alcohol sales for Boom Bang Fine Foods & Cocktails in the Las Vegas Planning Commission on Thursday.

The French-American restaurant opened right after the pandemic in Henderson. Chef and owner Elia Aboumrad said expanding to a second location wasn’t part of her plans, and she was caught off guard when the city of Las Vegas reached out to her.
“The city of Las Vegas approached me that they wanted Boom Bang in the Civic area,” Aboumrad said. “They were very adamant about a Vegas-born business, small, not a chain.”
