LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Las Vegas Metro police are warning valley residents about the difference between legitimate law enforcement notices and scams designed to scare people into handing over their money.
Police are addressing a legitimate notice some drivers may receive in the mail, as well as several scams currently targeting people across the Las Vegas Valley.
“Let’s face it; scams aren’t going to go away. It is easy money for predators out there to get a hold of certain elements of our community, certain populations in our community and take advantage and exploit those populations.
