Las Vegas man sentenced to 70 months for three armed bank robberies

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A Las Vegas man has been sentenced to nearly six years in federal prison after authorities said he carried out three armed bank robberies in North Las Vegas and Henderson over a 16-day span.

Denzel Brishard Jones was sentenced to 70 months in prison.

According to court documents, Jones committed three bank robberies between Jan. 9, 2025, and Jan. 25, 2025. Authorities said he brandished an XBG BB-gun during each robbery “to make a display of force that reasonably caused the employees to fear bodily harm,” and threatened to shoot employees and customers while demanding money…
