The athletics/athletics-news-1-5-billion-las-vegas-stadium-proposal-shocking-update”>Oakland Athletics’ new Las Vegas ballpark is currently being developed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) in partnership with HNTB and occupies nine acres between Tropicana Avenue and Reno Avenue. The project is part of the franchise’s bid to relocate from Oakland and is being built on the former Tropicana Las Vegas site directly on the Las Vegas Strip.
The project carries an estimated cost of roughly $2 billion and will seat approximately 33,000 spectators. Now, the official Athletics X account has posted an update, revealing that the installation of the third and tallest steel truss arch at the future ballpark had recently been completed.
