2 Nevada prison guards charged after handcuffed inmate shot, docs say

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Two Nevada Department of Corrections officers are facing multiple charges after an inmate was allegedly shot with a less-lethal weapon while handcuffed, according to court records obtained by FOX5.

Las Vegas Justice Court records show Senior Correctional Officer Jami De Sena and Correctional Officer Jocelyn Jimenez are each charged with battery, conspiracy to commit battery, oppression under color of office, inhumanity to a prisoner, and falsifying records by a public officer.
