Las Vegas, NV – Dangerous flash flooding threatens portions of the southwestern United States Sunday, October 11, as remnants of Tropical Storm Rachel bring unusually high moisture into the region, with additional rainfall potentially reaching 3 inches in some locations.
According to the NOAA Weather Prediction Center and National Weather Service in Las Vegas, flash flooding was already occurring in parts of the Southwest early Sunday morning, with additional flooding expected throughout the day.
