LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — As primary day nears, some Las Vegas neighbors are complaining that the variety of smiling candidates’ faces on large signage is blocking their view of oncoming traffic—causing frowns.
Larry McClelland, a Las Vegas neighbor, sat in his car at the intersection of North Jones Boulevard and Deer Springs Way, attempting to see over a series of campaign signs blocking his view of northbound traffic.
“Someone is going to get severely injured, if not killed,” he said. “And then who you going to sue? All the campaign sign people?”
Every two years, McClelland said he watched the empty lot near his home bloom with political signs, not a sign of spring, but instead it’s campaign season…
