Large smoke cloud visible in Las Vegas as crews respond to fire

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A large plume of smoke could be seen over the Las Vegas valley on Friday morning as crews responded to a fire in the central valley.

Shortly after 7 a.m., black smoke could be seen over the valley, appearing to come from a large fire at a commercial building in the central valley.

Both the North Las Vegas Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded. The fire was on West Tonopah Avenue, near North Las Vegas Boulevard and West Owens Avenue.
