LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas man is in custody after police say he sent a threatening message about carrying out a shooting at a local high school.
Documents that 8 News Now obtained show Christopher Reeves, 48, was arrested April 17 in Henderson following an investigation into an alleged threat involving Las Vegas High School.
Police say the investigation began earlier that day after a report that Reeves sent an email stating he intended to “shoot as many people as I can” at the school. The message also allegedly referenced building explosives and targeting individuals connected to the campus.

Officers were notified around midday and increased police presence at the school as a precaution. Authorities said no suspicious activity was found on campus, but additional resources were brought in due to the seriousness of the threat…
