Henderson waives penalty fees in May for unpermitted residential building projects

HENDERSON (KSNV) — Henderson homeowners who have completed residential construction work without permits can bring those projects into compliance this month without paying penalty fees.

In recognition of Building Safety Month, the City of Henderson is waiving penalty fees throughout May for unpermitted residential building projects. The residential amnesty program allows homeowners to pull permits without penalties on residential construction that may have been performed without proper permits, though homeowners will still be required to pay standard permit fees during the amnesty period.
