Ex-pro wrestler Daniel Rodimer seeks dismissal of Las Vegas murder charge in Resorts World death

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Attorneys for former professional wrestler and former Nevada congressional candidate Daniel Rodimer have filed a motion to dismiss the murder charge against him in the death of a man on the Las Vegas Strip.

Christopher Tapp, 47, was found dead in a Las Vegas Strip hotel room on Oct. 29, 2023. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, Tapp’s death initially appeared to be accidental until police later found out that he was involved in an altercation in the hotel room. The Clark County Coroner’s Office ruled Tapp’s death a homicide.

Rodimer is charged in connection with Tapp’s death after a 2023 Halloween party inside a suite at Resorts World Las Vegas, according to the allegations in the case. Prosecutors say Rodimer attacked Tapp at the party…
