LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A housing development proposed along the edge of Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument is causing concern among advocates for the Las Vegas monument.
Castle Rock Village, a subdivision containing 215 homes, is on the Las Vegas Planning Commission agenda for Tuesday, May 12. It’s a piece of 44.5-acre property that Protectors of Tule Springs, an advocacy group for the monument, has been watching.
